Chairman & CEO
Founder and Principal Investor at RIV Capital, Roberto is the Chairman and CEO of the group.
He has 27 years of experience prior as a Derivative Trader then as an Investment/Private Banker within European and American investment firms in London, Frankfurt and Milan. American Express Bank, Dresdner Bank, Banca IMI, Lehman Brothers, Nomura the main experiences.
Awarded for big investment banking deals especially in the securitisation field, Roberto is an accomplished trader with a deep knowledge of market structures and derivatives showing official and constant double digit annual returns implementing Q-strategies and value investments.
His strong passion for academic quant research took him prior to cover the seat of Monetary Policy and Fixed Income as Adjoint Professor at the University of Bologna (Italy).
MA in Economics and Finance at University of Bologna, and Executive Educations at INSEAD and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Stefano Camponovo

he serves as Vice Chairman.
Stefano is a banker with 30 years of experience and CEO at Camponovo & Partners Group, headquartered in Lugano, Switzerland. Founded in the early 1970s by his father as a consulting firm, it is currently active in corporate finance, strategic consultancy, tax advisory, private equity, wealth management, real estate management and investments, with offices also in Dubai and Hong Kong, and still expanding worldwide.
His career began in London and New York at Morgan Grenfell & Co. Bank and Prudential Bache, and previously as Inspector of the Tax Office at the Finance Department of Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
Stefano holds a BS in Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Andrea was among the founding team at Lehman Brothers Italy, where he worked from 1987 to 2008, and subsequently at Nomura. He ran the Institutional Equity Sales group at Lehman, based in London and Milan.
His client coverage has centred on asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds and banking foundations. Across more than 200 companies over 20 years, Andrea has built deep expertise in international equities, sales, IPO distribution and structured products, working across both cash and derivatives sales and leading large teams on major transactions. He began his career at Bankers Trust International.

Alongside that career, she took on responsibility for managing and protecting the family's assets from an early age, developing a lasting interest in financial markets and the risks associated with them.
Adele brings a holistic approach to both business and life, reflecting RIV's own philosophy that passion and science are vision.

Max is Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna and Director of the Master in Wealth Management at Bologna Business School. He holds the chairs of Economics of Financial Markets, International Finance and Asset Management.
Alongside his teaching and research, which includes an extensive body of scientific publications, he serves as a board member at several Italian companies and as a senior advisor, particularly on risk management.

He spent five years as a lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, covering investment funds and private equity companies, both listed and unlisted. He then spent four years as a senior lawyer at Gianni Origoni Grippo & Partners, one of Italy's largest law firms, advising investment and commercial banks, insurers and large private equity funds on domestic and cross-border banking and distressed transactions, including some of the largest NPL deals completed in Italy.
From 2009 he was co-founder and executive board member at J-Invest Group, an independent financial firm active in distressed assets and non-performing loans, which over the following decade purchased more than EUR 4.9 billion of NPLs. Since 2020 he has been an active private investor across banking, real estate, distressed assets, healthcare and renewable energy.

Guido serves as Chief Operating Officer at RIV Technologies FZE in Dubai, UAE.
He previously worked at IBM as a Senior Advisor and IT Architect, with more than five years of experience designing and developing solutions using blockchain and emerging technologies. He led teams delivering innovative projects across blockchain and IT.
Guido holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Milan and teaches at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Learning Facilitator.

His main focus is the logical architecture of blockchain technologies, self-sovereign identity, and a privacy-by-design approach that helps users meet electronic identity standards worldwide.
He is also Chairman and Founder of Commercio.network, a blockchain structured as an international consortium of more than 100 companies.
Enrico holds a BSc in Marketing and Information Technology from Ithaca College, New York, and is the author of six books on blockchain and anti-money laundering.

In these roles he has developed their welfare and education systems and represented members' interests at national and European level, working with policymakers, stakeholders and the media.
His background spans corporate finance, management, organisational development, information technology, labour and welfare, with particular expertise in institutional capital markets across pension funds, health funds and life insurance.
Mario holds a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Bologna.
