Our Investment Philosophy

  • Our investment philosophy is focused on identifying a wide range of investmentopportunities capable of generating a genuine positive return through acombination of capital appreciation and dividend pay-outs. We consider bothlisted and unlisted assets that offer high dividend yields to expand ourinvestment scope and to provide greater potential for our shareholders.
  • The Board of Directors exercises governance over the Ecosystem through arigorous and ongoing collaboration with Legal and Compliance, as well as theCustodian/PB UBS Luxembourg.
  • RIV Capital SICAV RAIF, headquartered in Luxembourg, drives the growthof the asset management sector.
  • The RIV CAPITAL ALGO FUND, BVI oversees Pure Prop Trading activities, employing Statistical Arbitrage and digital liquidity pooling/staking tactics to generate returns from high-yield cryptocurrency investments. The fund employs a well-balanced blend of outright positions, staking, and Liquidity Pooling on leading Decentralized Exchanges.
  • The REAL ASSETS HIGH YIELD comprises of private debt and equity investments, offering dividends, coupons, and anticipated growth to investors. While advanced risk management tools are essential for protecting the investment portfolio during turbulent market conditions, we see the potential to boost portfolio performance by allocating a small portion to unlisted real assets that distribute attractive dividends.
  • To achieve diversification, we have made strategic investments both in Italy and in the Middle East: amongst the others, the purchase of 15% of Billionaire Mansion, in Dubai, the iconic brand founded by Mr. Flavio Briatore. The aim is to diversify the investment portfolio with real assets that consistently distribute dividends independently by any market conditions. 
  • We only invest in solid and healthy businesses, with a proven track record spanning multiple years and a unique market position.
  • RIV TECHNOLOGIES FZE is based in Dubai and in process to obtain the VARA authorization, ready to launch the RIV WALLET, digital, non custodial and in full compliance with the innovative digital KYC/AML address.

Our approach is distinct from that of conventional asset managers who manufacture investment products and seek to market them. Instead, we have crafted an investment solution that caters to the specific requirements of the shareholders, making us the initial beneficiaries of our own investment solution.

We strongly believe in taking a disciplined and when possible a quantitative proactive approach to portfolio management that incorporates a rigorous analysis of market trends, economic conditions, as well as fundamentals.

We offer innovative investment solutions leveraging on our advanced data analytics tools and technologies to analyse market data and trends. We are constantly seeking out new sources of data and exploring cutting-edge technologies that can provide us with a competitive advantage over our peers in the market. With our deep understanding and knowledge of the Italian institutional and Family Office business, we are well-positioned to achieve our AUM targets quickly.

hedge fund

Established in Q2-2023 the RIV Algo Fund is a hedge fund, incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. The main goal of the HF is to produce a real return through the utilization of RIV Capital’s proprietary data and technology, ultimately benefiting the company’s shareholders. Currently, and in the foreseeable future, the fund will not accept outside investors, with RIV Capital Holding SCSp being the sole investor. This measure has been put in place to safeguard the fund’s intellectual property.

Statistical Arbitrage

  • A market neutral strategy designed to capture short-term reversal in the liquid Single Stock Futures (SSF) listed on EUREX
  • No positions will be carried out overnight. All positions will be closed by end of the day, leaving the fund invested in cash overnight
  • The fund employs leverage during the day. It is expected the hourly margin/equity exposure to be within 5% at any given point
  • The strategy runs on a fully automated investment process, hard-coded in a secured server and supported by a version control system which provides robust governance and facilitates its auditing

Crypto trading

Traditional quantitative strategies stand to gain from the remarkable volatility of cryptocurrency, which is rapidly emerging as a captivating asset class. Initially, our focus will centre around pooling and staking, while endeavouring to adopt a more intelligent approach wherever feasible, such as hedging the token with futures. Similar to other compartment, the aim remains to generate a positive return regardless of market trends

RIV Technologies

  • We believe that digital assets are an interesting asset class that, if properly leveraged, can boost the performance of traditional portfolios. Access to these assets is nevertheless made harder by the lack of trusted third parties, a complex underlying technology and manual processes
  • With RIV Technologies we propose innovative solutions that leverage digital assets and blockchain to increase wealth, by simplifying the complex processes underneath technology and offering to retail users instruments to invest safely in digital assets
  • The Fintech will operate from Dubai under VARA regulation, the most comprehensive cryptocurrency regulation in the world, with a peculiar attention to compliance made possible by the collaboration we entertain daily with our international law firm partners

RIV Wallet

  • RIV Wallet is a digital, non-custodial cryptocurrency Wallet, based on a third-generation blockchain ecosystem (Cøsmos)
  • It is the first KYC/AML-compliant non-custodial wallet. Unlike centralized exchanges, that require the user to trust the service provider, we designed a solution when the user is fully owner of its funds, at the same time being 100% compliant to regulations
  • Beyond traditional cryptocurrencies, RIV Wallet will give its users access to Vaulted Tokens: assets backed by a combination of fiat and crypto collateral, and for this reason less volatile 

RIV Coin

  • RIVCoin is a cryptocurrency collateralized by a portfolio of reserves, composed of fiat currencies, securities and digital assets
  • RIVCoin is pre-minted with a max cap of 75 billion units, and stored in the Vault compartment of our BVI Hedge Fund
  • Reserves are invested in the RAIF, and the appreciation of the reserves is redistributed to users that proactively provide liquidity
  • RIVCoin will be integrated in RIV Wallet, and will be the first vaulted token on the Wallet. 
RIV Technologies is a Fintech startup with an innovative spirit, incorporated in Dubai World Trade Centre in January 2023. Despite being a new venture, it has been valued by PwC between $440m and $1.3b pre-money, recognizing the potential of the fintech and the disruptiveness of its business model.
